HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 40 OVER 40 EXPERIENCE?

The participation fee is $490. The fee not only holds your date and allows us to book our hair and makeup artist for your shoot, it also covers your discovery call, a celebrity-style photoshoot, one gorgeous matted print of your choice, AND inclusion in the 40 Over 40 Portrait Exhibition.

WHAT DOES THE $490 INCLUDE?

• DISCOVERY CALL. We’ll go over how YOU want to be photographed. During our call, we’ll discuss all the details involved with your photoshoot, including wardrobe, what to bring, how to prepare and everything else you’ll need ot know about your special day!

• PROFESSIONAL HAIR & MAKEUP ARTISTRY. The day of your shoot you’ll enjoy being pampered with professional hair, styled to your exact liking, along with gorgeous makeup. No matter if you’d like a ‘no-makeup’ makeup look, or a glam’d up look - you’ll look and feel amazing!

• CELEBRITY-STYLE PHOTOSHOOT. You’re in good hands! You’ll enjoy a magazine-style photoshoot, where I guide you every step of the way. My superpower is helping people feel at-ease in front of my camera, and giving LOTS of posing direction. You'll never wonder how you should stand or what you should do with your hands. And no matter your size or body type, I got you! Remember, it’s not your job to be photogenic; I'm very good at what I do, you're going to love our time together, trust me!!! I’ll even show you the back of my camera a few times so you know how beautifully your images are turning out. You’re amazing and no detail is too small to make this a perfect day for you. YOU are worthy to be seen and exist in photos.

• IMAGE REVEAL SESSION. This is where you view your portraits at the studio & select your favorites. During this appointment you’ll choose your complimentary print.

• PORTRAIT OF YOUR CHOICE. You’ll receive one fine art matted print with its matching digital image (a $350 value). Additional prints and products will be available for purchase however there is no obligation or pressure to purchase more - what you buy is entirely up to you.

• PRIVATE FACEBOOK GROUP. You’ll be invited to an exclusive Facebook group along with other 40 over 40 participants. The mission of the group is to uplift & empower.

• PHOTO EXHIBITION CELEBRATING YOU. When this ‘40 OVER 40’ portrait series is completed each woman will be celebrated with their portrait and story on display in a unifying exhibition event. Your friends & family will be welcome to come and celebrate YOU during this joyous ‘40 OVER 40’ exhibit.
  

WHAT IF I WANT MORE THAN ONE PHOTOGRAPH?

Absolutely! When you see the 20-30 stunning images we have created for you, you'll mostly likely want them all! Extra photographs are $350 each and include its corresponding digital. You can save a LOT of money by purchasing collections. The more you buy, the cost goes down. Our collections with 8 images start at $1490 + tax. We do take credit cards and offer payment plans as well.

TELL ME ABOUT YOUR PRODUCTS FOR SALE - I offer beautiful products to store and display your portraits, including matted prints, albums, folio boxes and wall art. My most popular item is an exquisite buckram-wrapped folio box, hand-crafted in Australia, which sits on your bookshelf, nightstand, or coffee table to show off your new matted prints. Want to hang your beautiful portraits on your wall? We design your gallery wall together, so there’s never any guessing ‘what size should I order?’

WHERE DOES THE SHOOT TAKE PLACE?

My portrait studio is located within my home in Fort Myers, FL. Approximately 3 miles east of I-75, off Daniels Pkwy, in the Gateway community. Super easy to find.

WHAT DAYS DO YOU HAVE AVAILABLE FOR THIS SHOOT?

We have appointments available for shoots during the weekday mornings, by appointment. Availability is first come first serve. On your phone chat with Jenn she will share next available dates and make sure to find an opening that works for you.

TELL ME ABOUT THE PORTRAIT EXHIBITION CELEBRATION?

One of the most exciting parts of this project is to celebrate all 40 of our participants and share your images and stories with the community. There will also be a final celebration featuring all 40 women's portraits on display once this project is complete. Our venue will be announced as we get closer.

WHY ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT THIS PROJECT?

I just turned 50 this year, and I can relate with all my 40+ sisters of the feelings we have about aging and how we are underrepresented in the media. There's no expiration date on being a fabulous, happy, fulfilled, and vibrant woman. You inspire me. Your story inspires me. I firmly believe that women over 40 deserve to be celebrated. We are too experienced to not be heard and too beautiful not to be celebrated. Together we can change the way the world defines aging. We can lift and empower those that are coming up behind us that may have lost themselves and seeking that awakening of their spirit and soul.

I’M NOT PHOTOGENIC AT ALL! I DON’T EVEN LIKE HAVING MY PICTURES TAKEN!

As soon as I lift my camera up I know what you're thinking. Make no mistake, I see all of your questions and fears:

“Do I look fat?” “Do I look awkward?” “Are these going to turn out?”

Don’t you worry! I’m very good at what I do. I'll coach you every minute of your shoot. I pose to flatter ALL shapes & sizes, using my 16 years of education & experience. You'll never look awkward. That is my promise to you. You’ll go from feeling uncertain to feeling confident in a few short minutes. How do I know this, you ask? Because I watch women transform right before my eyes. And THAT is why I do what I do. These photos will tell YOUR story - these photographs are your legacy.

WHAT WILL I WEAR?

You can wear 3-5 different outfits in your photoshoot. We encourage you to bring several dresses and gowns for you to play DRESS UP! Or, you can be casual in jeans and a black or white shirt. You can wear a sun dress. You can wear a fancy cocktail dress or jumpsuit. You can wear yoga clothes. You could even wear lingerie or we can capture a tastefully artistic nude. There's no rules. This is up to you! I want to photograph you based on YOUR UNIQUE VISION.

WHAT IF I’D LIKE TO INCLUDE MY CHILDREN, PARTNER, PET OR FAMILY?

Yes yes and YES! Most of my clients will include a loved one - their spouse or children, sisters or mom. You can definitely include loved ones in your shoot! Extra hair and makeup is $200 per person (if needed). Part of your story is the people you love so including your loved ones just makes sense. But you also have total permission to make this photoshoot just about YOU!

WHAT IF I BOOKED MY DATE & PAID $490, AND THEN HAVE TO RESCHEDULE?

I totally understand that life happens! I do book in my hair & makeup artist's time to be at your photoshoot. Therefore, you are allowed one reschedule more than 7 days out from the shoot at no charge. If we have less than 7 days notice (or this is the second time you need to reschedule) we do charge a $100 rescheduling fee.

HOW ARE YOU CHOOSING WHO PARTICIPATES?

We aren't "choosing" anyone. Every woman's story is inspiring. Every woman is beautiful. So we aren't going to exclude anyone who wants to be involved. This project is first come, first served. If you’re willing to connect with Jenn for a "get to know you"call, pay your $490 participation fee, book your shoot date, and are 40+ years of age (or turning 40 this year) you can be a part of the shoot! YAY! The other limit is that we only have 40 spots available. Once we hit 40 women, we will create a waitlist of interested women.
